We are rebuilding the most essential digital tools from the ground up, utilizing modern browser capabilities to ensure that your data stays exactly where it belongs — on your device.

Engineering for Privacy

The core innovation of ToolZip lies in our "Client-Side First" architecture. Traditionally, if you wanted to convert a HEIC image to a JPG, you had to upload your image to a server, wait for the server to process it, and then download the result. This process is not only slow but poses a significant privacy risk — you are handing your personal files to a third party and trusting them to delete it afterward (a promise many do not keep).

By leveraging WebAssembly (WASM) and high-performance browser JavaScript engines, ToolZip performs complex operations directly inside your browser tab. When you convert a file on ToolZip, the file never travels across the internet. Processing happens in your computer's RAM and CPU, managed by your browser. This makes our tools:

• Instantly Fast: No upload or download latency. Processing begins the moment you drop a file.
• Inherently Private: We don't have to promise we won't look at your files — we physically cannot see them because they never reach our servers.
• Unlimited by Default: Since you are using your own hardware's processing power, we have no reason to charge you for "server time" or "processing credits."
